5/16/09 EXTREME BOWLING NIGHT

All income freshmen that are interested in joining the Centennial High School Band, Color guard or Drum line next season are invited to our Extreme bowling night. The event is from 10PM to Midnight, this Saturday May 16, 2009, at Westchester Bowling Alley (1819 30th Street). Members of this year’s Centennial Band, Color guard and Drum line will also be in attendance. The Talons are paying the cost of shoe rental and bowling for all students in attendance. If you wish to purchase food or drink you will need your money to pay for that. We hope to have about 100 students attending. Talons parents will be chaperoning the event. But any parent who wishes to attend is welcome.

10/16/08 the Sequoia Sandwich fundraiser was very sucessful. The band will receive about $250 from the nights activities.

9/27/08 - Band Yard Sales. 7am to Noon.
Start cleaning out those closets and garages and save your stuff for a huge Band yard sale. Ask family and Friends for donations also. Parents can drop off their donations now to be stored in the band room. Yard Sale Flyer

Thank you to the parents who volunteered to work the rummage sale. We had a good time and great help. Also thank you to those families who donated their "treasures". We earned a total of $528.65 at the yard sale. Thank you everyone for your support.

8/16/08 - A Great BIG Thank You to all the parents and students who came out and helped with the Car Wash. It was a big success and would not have been possible without your help. Also Thank You to those who organized the storage room and cleaned Big and Little Red. Those were big jobs and needed to be done. One more Thank You to Mrs. Campos who is always there for support and hung around in the heat to take care of the donations table.

Approximatly 150 Cars were washed and a total of $1,369.00 raised.
Received $135.00 in donations "tips"
